"Say Her Name"
Joanne Greenspun
In a testament to her unwavering dedication to preserving the natural world, Joanne Greenspun's generous monetary gift to TNC has bestowed upon us the breathtaking, untouched expanse of the Cohanzick Nature Reserve, a testament to the serendipitous alignment of her vision and destiny's design.
Joanne was the director of the Vineland Public Library in New Jersey from 1964 through 1992. Through her efforts and perseverance, the City of Vineland authorized the construction of a new state-of-the-art public library located at 1058 Landis Ave. in 1976. Her insight, determination, and support also resulted in creating The Friends of Vineland Public Library, a volunteer organization that has raised funds throughout the years to help make the library a first-class facility.
